About Building Hope
Welcome to Building Hope, an organization dedicated to helping the homeless individuals in Redmond, Oregon. We have been in operation since 2020, offering support to those who are unhoused and reconnecting them with the community. Our team of hardworking volunteers helps make our mission a reality, as we ensure that everybody we work with have human rights essentials like gas for heat during the cold winter months.
In particular, we have provided help for homeless women and men struggling with daily meth addiction, empowering them to recover and live fulfilling lives. We are proud to have supported women through their recovery, empowering them to find work and accommodation and reintegrate into society as productive members. God has a plan for all His children, and we help lost people realize that.
When we find ourselves in a challenging place in our lives, and we are offered a chance for change, the world becomes a better place. By working alongside the homeless, we guide them toward hope for the future. We lead others in the right direction to transform the trajectories of their lives for good. Everyone deserves a second chance — everyone deserves hope.
Our vision for the future, when we have more resources and volunteers available, is to expand our reach. Hundreds of unhoused people are living and struggling in Redmond, and we are committed to helping them all. We have delivered water and toiletry items, paid for hotel rooms, and provided dump trailers. We have towed a dozen RVs and delivered countless cars to mechanics for fixing.
